Patient Services
Putting You First, Making Smiles Last
We're committed to helping our patients obtain and then maintain
the best dental health possible throughout their lives. That includes
preventive, restorative, and elective dental services, as we've
explained below. If there's something you're interested in that
you don't see here, don't hesitate to contact us by phone or email
any time.
Preventive Services
Early Detection, Less Correction
When it comes to teeth, small problems are often simple problems.
And small problems are those that are caught early. That's why
we encourage our patients to maintain those regular professional
check-ups, and have a healthy home routine as well.
Our
preventive services include:
- Dental Hygiene & Cleaning
- Regular Check-Ups
- Dental Sealants
- In Office Periodontal Services (Gum Care)
- Patient Education
- NTI Nightguards
- Athletic Mouthguards
Restorative Services
Conservative Correction
Life can be tough on teeth. Stress, age, accidents, lifestyle
habits
all can contribute to discolored, broken, chipped,
cracked or even missing teeth. That's where our restorative services
come in. With careful evaluation and conservative treatment, we
can renew the strength and preserve the long-term health of your
smile.
Our restorative services include the following:
- Tooth Colored Fillings
- Bonding
- All Porcelain Inlays, Onlays, & Crowns
- Bridges
- Endodontic (Root Canal) Treatment
- Extractions
- Full & Partial Dentures
- Dental Implant Restorations
Cosmetic Services
Small Changes, Big Smiles
It's really true: brighter smiles mean brighter outlooks. That's
why we provide a range of elective services, from options as simple
as teeth whitening to more involved procedures such as porcelain
veneers. With today's materials and techniques, we can brighten
your smile and your perspective.
Our cosmetic services include the following:
- Tooth Colored Fillings
- Porcelain Veneers
- Bonding
- Whitening
- Reshaping/Recontouring
Technology
High Tech, High Touch
While 'high tech' tools can't replace the expertise that comes
from years of evaluating and treating patients, we are convinced
that the better we can 'see' the better we can evaluate and treat
you. That's why Dr. O'Neil uses magnification on his exam glasses,
or telescopes as they are often called. That's also why we've
invested in an intra-oral camera: not only can we take you on
a 'visual tour' of your mouth, but we can magnify, diagnose, and
discuss any revealed concerns in real time, right at your chairside.
As for the 'high touch' side, we use good old-fashioned blankets
and relaxing music to keep our patients comfortable during their
longer procedures.
Our technology includes:
- Diagnodent
- Oroscoptic Telescopes
- Intra Oral Camera
- Patient Comfort Measures (CD player, blankets)
Patient Protection
- Independent bottled water systems on all three of our units,
which are drained and disinfected regularly
- Weekly Autoclave Monitoring tested through UNMC College of
Dentistry Biomonitoring Service
- Siemens X-Ray Badges for the whole team
- No use of latex products (gloves, dental dam, prophy angles,
etc.)
